He is still around. Lives in sparta. He is a solid 600....not an exaggeration. Saw him in July

 

Might be the one I hunted for 2 seasons in Sparta until I lost the hunting property.  Not too many of that size around anymore.  They're there, just less of them now. Good Luck to you this season. Hope you get to harvest him.  If you do and you are gonna throw away the fat, please keep me in mind.
