Crabbing Input Needed - Wildwood

Headed down with the family for 5 days starting this Sunday coming up.  I had one spot a bunch of years ago that was awesome from land and then the next year was just as bad as it had been good. 

 

If anyone has any tips for down there, spots to check out that produce or wants to go out on a boat, I'd pay for gas or whatever.  Never rented the boats to do crabbing and I'm not sure how kids would hold up to waves but I could try that as well.  Any crabbing reports from the area would be appreciated as well.

 

PM me with any thoughts you don't want to publish.  We get down there one a year if that.

been years since i did any crabbing around wildwood and then only in spring and fall but the crabbing was good around grassy sound. I believe grass sound marina still has a pier to crab off and boat rentals also.....
