It doesn't pay to be a good husband

In my early 20’s  I told my wife I hunt every Saturday and I go in the woods on Sunday to scout  for next Saturday because me and my dad never baited. We had two little girls at the time. I told her I don’t go drinking in bars I just hunt with my dad. Told her if u don’t like it you know where the door is. Well, I came home from work one day and my house was empty. No furniture, no wife , no kids! My dad told me this is what men do. My mom was a saint. Well I kissed up to my wife and thank God she came back. Kids are grown and now she pushes me out the door because she wants more deer meat.
