sad day - tomorrow is final day of the season

Small game season, that is!

Each year it seems I get more and more into small game hunting. Almost got my first bunny a couple weeks ago (I almost stepped on him before he spooked... I never saw him, he was so well-camo'ed - thing was so fast I think I still shot behind him and he was only 50 feet away when I pulled the trigger!)

But I really love squirrel hunting. I'll be out tomorrow to try to get one or two more.

I finally got a pressure-cooker (one of those Insta-Pots) - I'm gonna try to make a couple pressure-cooker recipes that people swear make squirrel edible. I sure hope so!

After tomorrow, it's just crows and predators, before turkey season heats up.
