Guess you can't use a Bipod on any Rifle

The second target going up looks good. It is stringing up for some reason. Usually that means it has to be bedded, If the Barrel is Free Floated you need to take the next step which is Pillard Bedding. At 50yds and being inside you should have one ragged hole. Of cource it could be operator error also........ sust sayin............

It stings down not up and I think we both know I can shoot it has bedding where the barrel meets the stock where the chamber is. ANSWER YOUR PHONE Edited April 7, 2017 by Shortfuse

Mine shoots ~MOA at 200 yards with or without a bipod, if I do my part.  Make sure the bushings from the old stock were removed and used with the Boyd's stock, as their directions state.  Make sure you have a good amount of free-float.  A dollar bill won't cut it.  While the ammo is good I feel it will always be the weak link once you get the rifle dialed in.  Hopefully some day match grade ammo will be available.

Thats the first thing I checked the barrel is free floating if you look at the 4th target down its the only one that shot where I aimed and I shot that group without the bipod on a makeshift rest back by the trigger guard. The flier was my fault. Only thing I can point at is the Bipod when i shout of it I can't get 2 rounds in the same area

I picked up a Savage B Mag with a Boyds Stock in .17 WSM has a Bushnell Banner 4-16 scope on it I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why I couldn't get 2 or 3 rounds even close to each other Pics 1,2 and 3 are after 50 rounds and tightening everything on the Rifle. So I'm sitting there looking at it ready to give up and bingo let me try folding up the Bipod and shooting off a box pic 4 the top target is no bipod the bottom target is using the bipod again just to make sure i'm not Nuts. So I guess you cant mount a Bipod on any Rifle even if they put a second sling swivel on it for a Bipod
