Bucksnbows
Wasn't sure where to post this, but we are looking to build 2 box blinds overlooking both fields and scrubby brush on our NY hunting property and I am wondering if any of you has plans you can recommend? The internet is full of plans, most for a 6'x6' blind which is fine, but I'm curious what you used and what you liked or would change if you knew beforehand? We would likely have the local Amish guy that built the barn build these for us since we never seem to have time, and he would use whatever plans we gave him more or less and use local timber he would cut and mill to size. I think my biggest concern is "windows" that won't leak and destroy the interior plywood flooring I envision would be used. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board

Zipper
Consider building a Haybale Blind. Cheaper and effective. I built both. "All men die, not all men really live". WW
Stevo
I built one for Kyle. Hardest part is getting it out to the field and then up. We have a giant fork lift and that made it pretty easy. Ours is 16ft to the floor. Oh yea it is way up there. After we position it (we move it around on the Farm) we use Ratchet Straps for added support. We drive Rebar in the ground and attach the straps to them in four corners. Very sturdy. Be sure to put carpet on the floor to deaden any sounds. Sent from my flip phone with the big buttons so I can see them
Zipper
It's nice to have a lift when you need it. "All men die, not all men really live". WW
