IBO World Qualifier in NJ

The UBNJ will be hosting the first IBO qualifier in NJ this year. I am waiting to confirm the date with IBO. But it looks like it will be the weekend of our Fathers Day shoot at Assunpink. I will keep everyone informed.

What is this qualifier you speak of? I went to their site and couldn't get an explanation of it.

The qualifier is a shoot you must take part in in order to attend the IBO world shoot. You can also shoot just for fun.

The UBNJ Summer Slam IBO qualifier shoot will be June 29th and 30th at Assunpink WMA. The top 20 scores each day will qualifiy to attend the IBO world championships in Silver Spring Pa.

Do you have any more information about this? The dates are great but I was looking for more background information about the shoot, what it is, what the targeting is like, what makes it so cool, etc.

 

I am shooting on a regular basis with my daughter and was thinking about taking it up a notch and competing. Just for fun, but if I'm any good it sounds like a neat thing to get into.
