Hey all,

Looking for some insight on the rifle I've aquired. I know it's a mod98 bnz45. Looking to see what year it is, caliber and an approximate value on it. It is a numbers matching gun. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Your rifle is a late war model, manufactured in 1945 and chambered in 8mm mauser.  The "BNZ" designation indicates that the manufacturer was Steyr.

Your rifle appears to be in good condition but if it was modified in any way it is worth less.

Thank you so much for the info. It does not seem to be modified in any way.  I can't wait to shoot this thing. So much history with this rifle.
