Scrap prices

Years ago I used to install and service medical lab equipment and new instruments always ship with all the different power cables compatible with wall outlets in every country we did business with. So for every piece of equipment I installed I would pickup 1/2 dozen 6-8ft long 10ga 3-wire cables not useable in the U.S. and some of these installs got me 50-60 cables which I would store up in garage.

Then every so often I would lop ends off cables and hit the scrap yard. Got copper prices for the cables and scrap steel price for lopped off plug ends.

Funded quite a few fishing trips over the years😊
