I was just out shoot some new but two year old 5575 gold-tip carbon arrows. The first two shots the nocks exploded on me. Not sure about the rest I chicken out . I was shooting a longbow at 52 lbs. Has anyone else had this problem and how do you get the old nocks out.

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.

I had these built by Kustom King. They are my first set so I did not want to mess around

maybe try to get a screw extractor or a screw that will fit snug, then heat a pair of pliers that have a round grip that would hold the arrow shaft firm and transfer the heat to the tip without heating the rest of the arrow. Either that or send them back to Kustom King .Ps. I  Don't know why this came out underlined.  They look like  acc's,  not carbon.

After these two messed up. I went back two some cedars that I made four years ago and no problems. I thought these things were going to make life easier.
