Savage 220 Replacement Stock

So reading some post about stock replacement I decided to finally look into it. Boyd Stock I don't care for, McMillan I love but not spending that amount of money.

I called and spoke to Savage gave the serial number oh my 220, it's original early models, the current Accustock will not fit my 220, various different things that will not allow it. Bolt release in a different location, barrel lug nuts, magazine cut out is larger, this was told to me by savage. Oh well
