Training dog on water

Any good spots to train your dog on water preferably in the North?  I went to Whittingham WMA last week and the grass hasn't been cut since last year.  I also need a flat area so the dog can work on a platform stand.   

Is Hainesville WMA any better?  I could try non WMA locations but I'd like work with the dog on a platform and not be bothered by others.

i used whitingham water dog training area. on hot days i would use the del river just down stream from the milford bridge. you can wade across the river at that point. i dont know about the platform you speak about. the flatbrook has a platform for handy cap fishing near the rifle range. i hope that helps out a little.
