A tactical safety is a great upgrade.

When you are afield with heavy gloves, the tactical safety is easily accessible.

The large tactical safety was found at Brownells.

DESCRIPTION:

4140 steel, hardened and blued, right-hand only. Fits Remington: 7600, 7400, 6, 4, 48, 58, 552, 572, 740, 742, 760, 870, 1100, 11-48, 11-87, SPT-10, 12, 74, 76, with or without ISS safety.
