  1. I got a picture of this piebald buck over the weekend. Only have a few pics of him. Pretty sure he is just a fork buck unless he has brow tines. Any one else capture trail cam pic of albino or piebald deer here in NJ? Would love to see pictures or hear stories. Also, is it true that it is bad luck to harvest one? Because the cape would make for a pretty cool rug. I am not saying I would shoot this buck. He is young! I would love to get some good footage of him though. Hopefully I see more of him in the upcoming weeks!
  2. Always a good sign when you got daytime pics! The other buck I only have 3 pictures of at night. Both of them are nice 8 points. Hoping for something a little bigger than these. But if they are within 30 yards I am letting an arrow fly! Let me see your hitlist buck/bucks!
  3. Checked the camera and got a couple decent bucks. Has only been out there for two weeks so hoping a couple other bucks pop up. The picture of the buck at night time was a buck that I have many pictures of from last year. I think he was hit by a car or something. He is blind in one eye and his shoulder is really swollen. Glad to see he made it to this year. I would shoot him if i had the opportunity because I'm pretty sure he is an older buck. But i never get pictures of him during the day. All the pics from last year and this year are around midnight.
  4. It is gonna be a cool one this weekend and my teammate Bryan Highley and me (Dean Bush) have our buck tags.... Hoping to fill our tags this weekend! Also, we have t-shirts in the making. Gonna be doing some giveaways on instagram and facebook. You can follow our instagram @bruiserbucksoutdoors. We are teaming up with rackgetterscents as well and we'll be giving away some of their products. I was thinking of doing a t-shirt giveaway on here as well... So keep your eyes out in the next week or two. BruiserBucksOutdoors is a group of young hunters that love the outdoors. We just started our instagram over a year ago now. We have just started a facebook page and twitter as well. We are also looking into making a website and selling t-shirts. Once we do that we are also going to be looking into a foundation to donate too. Does anyone know of hunting related foundations that we can donate too? Would love to hear feedback! What do you think of our logo? Thank you!
  5. What is everyone doing this weekend to prepare for opening day? I think that I will be baiting and checking cameras on saturday. Top the day off with a little bit of target practice. Thinking about checking out a 3D shoot on sunday. What are you doing to prepare?
  6. Here are some pics of the Bachelor Group bucks that I have on trail cam. I wanna see what everyone else has! Go!
  7. You guys tired of buying lures from big manufacturers and not knowing how old their products are? It could have been on the shelves for months. Well look no further than rack-getterscents. Not only do they have fresh products, but they are a local business starting out of New Jersey. The owner Gerard is a very nice guy who goes out of his way to meet the customers want/needs. I am not being paid or getting anything for saying this. I am just a happy customer who is trying to help him gain some business. http://www.rack-getterscents.com/ Here is the link to the website. Check them out for yourself!
  8. Okay, so I know that it happens to the best of us..... I put a bad shot on a nice 9 pointer last year and never found it. I have no excuse other than it was my fault completely. I didn't practice shooting nearly enough. I bought a new mathews bow before last season, sited it in, and maybe practiced shooting it three times. I know, I know, I should have shot more and practiced shooting from a stand instead of off the ground. But this year I have been shooting a lot every week. Anytime that I get, even if it is only 30 minutes, I have been shooting my bow. My pins are set at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards. My groups are pretty good all the way up to 40 yards. I have been shooting off of the top of my shed that is 10ft-12ft high. Any tips on how to get tighter groups at 50 and 60 yards? Such as a better stabilzer? I currently have a cheap one on there. Also I have been getting kind of bored just shooting at the block target I have. What do you guys do to keep it fun? Is there any target courses around to shoot? I am located in salem county. Let me know! Thanks!
