Hand gun purchase

Recommended Posts

this is kinda a multiple question thread.. My permits (change of adress and pistol) are in process (this is probaly going to take a while due my town being overwhelmed with FID and pistol permit applications) I want to purchase the taurus judge, can I purchase this pistol or give the seller a deposit and pick the gun up after I get my permits?? And where are some good pistol and shotgun dealers in the Sussex Morris areas? And lastly are there some good ranges/ shooting clubs in these same areas i could join? Thanks for your input..

If you trust the guy and he will let you pay for half or put a deposit then you can. You cant take posession of it until you have your permit filled out.

Some places will take a deposit. Try Jim Flynn in Glen Gardner on Rt. 31 great guy & prices are very good

Scrub,

Jim has a great reputation and is a great guy. He generally has the best prices in NJ and when he has something in stock it's great. Sometimes if he has to order something it takes awhile.

One of my good buddies, and a fellow SCFGPA board member, works at Jim's and I can call him tomorrow to see if he's got it in stock

No problem bro. As for slug guns, I have the Savage, among others, and I think it is a lot of gun for the money. If it were me I'd go with the Savage over the Browning and use the difference towards a nice rifle, Just my 2 cents

Browning Abolt is over priced & some owners are reporting problems. I too have the savage 220f just a unreal super accurate tack driver. Get it with a quality scope. Mine loves Remington accutip 3" slugs. 3/4" groups at 100yds.
