My winter bow euro mount

Just completed this a couple weeks ago. The cooler is a 100 qt Coleman for size comparison.

I do my own, it's pretty easy.  Skin the head then let it simmer in a pot of hot water.  Every half hour or so pick off all the "cooked" meat and brains until it's clean.      

 

Put a little soap in the water at the end to remove the grease and then wipe it down with peroxide when it's dry to whiten it up.   

 

Here's one I did last year for the buck our daughter shot with the bow.

Rusty do you saw cut it at end of neck on that last vertebrae first?

 

Yes.  Or you can just cut to the spine with a knife and twist the head off.

That looks great, and the system seems pretty approachable, I might have to give that a shot if I get a a nice buck. Thanks for sharing.
