Snow sucks

Have 4” of slush under about 5” of heavy snow here in PA

what a PIA.

going to be a nightmare when this crap freezes.

cleaned out as good as possible but will def be like a rumble strip when it turns to ice.

 Now off to NJ to do it all again.

Haveing an argument with Brenda now..

I want to wait till the perspiration is over and deal with the ice on top of the snow not the snow now And ice later.

Snow is easier to remove then ice

I feel your pain hammer, literally.   Got it cleaned up just before it rained heavily.  Got out early when the snow under the thick crust wasn't melted yet.  Would have been worse after it warmed up and the rain soaked in.  Most of the water should be gone before the freeze.

I usually win those arguments. If my wife is giving me a hard time about how I am building/fixing something, I tell her she is more then welcome to do it herself and at that point I hand over my tools. She will normally get pissed and walk away.

Might be some ice overnight though. The kind I hate - invisible black ice.

My driveway is a sloppy mess that is hard to  get the water off of.  No drainage but a trickle . I have to go out every  then again to help the flow before it freezes. It is supposed to get downright cold with big wind.

That’s what we did , waited till rain stopped a little after 10.

slush was heavy , guessing we got 90 % cleaned off .

rest will frozen soon .

We had about 6" or 8" of snow before the 29 degree rain came. Got the drive and road up to the barn plowed before the hard freeze. Got some antlermax blocks out before dark.

The worst part of the weekend was the fact that the CB Radio Reunion Show at Pattenburg House was cancelled due to...cold?  I think its because their parking lot isn't paved and they were worried about people slipping and falling on frozen slop.
