Doe down. Long cold sit!!!

Muzzleloader hunted today.....All day 

I sat this morning and didn'tthink i was going to see anything when at 8:15am i had 3 doe and a 6pt come. They never came in to the bait and were skiddish. The buck kept checking the does. This is a management hunt and i need to get my 2nd doe before i can buck hunt. So when they looked like they were going leave to took the biggest one.  She ran 40 yds and dropped. After tagging and gutting her i took her half way back to the truck.  Took my stand to my other spot and was set up for a buck by 9:45. 

Saw a doe a little after 10 then saw 2 doe at 3pm. Just before dark had 5 come in and included 3 bucks but all young non shooters. 

Never thought i would do all day sit this time of year.  Was 17 degrees in the morning and 29 when i left. Well till another day.

Well done Johnboy, especially on a day like today. Give you credit, all day sit wow! Hope I convinced you when you were texting us to not focus on the time....Very tough to do. I think in the next hunt or 2 you will have your shooter down....Beast Mode in the late season

Congrats. Deer were moving all day. I was working on house and could see them in and out of my food plot all day long
