The 10 day forecast finally looks encouraging.  Looks like we might get some winter temperatures toward end of the week.  More importantly, looks like New York will start to freeze up.

Freezers full, and bucks are shedding.  Time to till the garden.

Had some time so did some scouting this morning on Shrewbury. Finally saw some ducks on river.

I need ice to jig some slabs.

My son just texted me this morning to tell me that the ponds on my mom's place that we duck hunt on are frozen over. They are supposed to get some snow on Sunday. I'm scheduled to go back down there to hunt next weekend. Hopefully, it will not be too cold for the ducks.
