Squirrels have tough skin for a .410 although I have taken them. I  Put a lot of Pheasants down with my H&R Topper along with my kids who learned on it.  Story on the gun,  Back in the late 50's  My dad had a argument with my Mom about him going hunting all the time , So to make up for it he came home with a long box and gave it to her. She thought it was long stemmed roses but Not.  She never did let him live that down. (God rest her soul.) Miss you Mom.
