Lived down there for several years and fished the Santee Cooper chain, and tailrace canal frequently. great bass and catfish waters. The only thing more prevalent than big cats is big mosquito's...they were terrible, and that was before the days of Thermacell.

We did a lot of fishing for largemouths down there caught some real hogs! I think Roland Martin said it was his favorite place in the world to fish.
