We had a good day today, we could only hunt 2 hours but we managed 3 birds between the 2 of us. Sawyer pointed a few freshly killed ones missing heads, I guess that’s the owls that do that?

My daughter asked if she could shoot my gun today so after the hunt we found a safe place to do so and I allowed her to take one shot with my help of course, she’s definitely like me.  She woke me up at 0230 this morning asking if it was time to go hunting yet. I use to do the same thing to my dad. She even cleaned most of a pheasant and was very proud of doing it. Next week she will be in the stand with me one or two days.
