Good deal/Hunting boots

Was looking for a pair of decent and inexpensive boots for gun season next week. My Sorel Pac boots are ideal for bitter temps and long posts but I was looking for a smaller and lighter pair. Found these made by Itasca. Waterproof, 600 grams of Thinsulate, VERY light, comfortable and inexpensive.  $59.00 at Tractor Supply. Same price on Amazon Prime as well, with a 4/5 star rating and good reviews..Picked up a pair tonight ar T/S in Sussex and they feel great. Worth a look if you are in the market for boots..

Last year I was also in the same predicament....found two boots I was willing to try, both from sportsmansguide.com....one was 800 grams of Thinsulate I paid a little more then you paid, I wore them on each hunt this season since without issues they are very comfortable,  also got the bigger brother version with 2000 grams of thinsulate for I think $75.00 damn warm, and comfortable 

 

First one is 800 grams, second us 2000 grams

I also bought a pair from T/S havent worn them yet. I also bought the Itasca rubber boots with 1000 grams of thinsulate for $79.00 and was avery happy with them. I used them while I was in Maine in single digit temps and feet stayed warm even while sitting for hours.

i continually buy the camo Herman survivors from Walmart. They only last a year but are cheap enough that I can validate it. They are real comfortable and are great to walk in. Put a bunch of miles on them during the hunting season and have had zero issues. link is below...
