New to trapping and looking for experience

Hey everyone,
 
New to trapping and been hunting for a few years now. Not looking to steal anyone’s trapping spots. I just want to network, make friends and learn how it’s done with experienced trappers. Would love to assist in checking lines and harvesting.

Member here name @Newt holds a trapping school in South Jersey. From what I here they cover everything and don't stop until the students are done.

Welcome to the site and good luck.  I had the late Dick Webber from West Milford mentor me and his oldest son at the same time.  That was about 40 years ago now.  I don't trap these days due to a severe lack of time, but I will again one day when time allows.

I am sure someone up your way will let you tag a long. I am sure there is trapper's up your way on here. Also A great place to meet trapper's is at one on the trapper's meetings held the first Sunday of the month at the northern regional office in Clinton. Also follow the NJ trapper's association on Facebook. Not only will you see important information you can go to community chat.
