Buck/Doe Dirt nap Zone 12

Hard work does pay off. After putting in my fair share of time and passing what I deemed not tag savvy, I was able to have myself a little luck this morning. Set up an hour before first light at 645 a doe come trottin in, friends hounding me for meat so I decided to let it fly. She piled up in 30 yards, as fast as I can nock  another arrow this buck came in nose on the ground bird doggin her extremely hard, popped 1 grunt and he came in on a string. Normally I would not take a brisket shot but he was on a mission and not going to stick around for more than a couple seconds so I decided I knew I can make this an ethical shot, I let it fly he ran 40 yards and piled up 10 yards from the doe. Both shots were made at 25 yards and Doubled down before 7am. Not my biggest buck but most men take pride in what they’ve worked hard for lol.Thank you for reading.
