Got to check my cams today on three farms for first  time since being away.

Seems in the last five days I had hundreds of pics of bucks feeding with does.

Thinking the majority of does in my spots have been bred.

Had our big target buck pushing does around today. Most of the small bucks have vanished.

The buck I shot tonight was by himself and my dad also saw a six pointer and a spike alone.

had the biggest buck of the season hardcore chasing some does at 70 yards. 120 in eight point. The does were all herded up. Saw 12 come out of one bedding area. Oh yeah and this was all on public lol

I sat all day today Dan. I saw around 20 deer, 4 bucks. Most of the time they just wanted to eat but they did chase a little bit

I saw 5 deer this PM all bucks, not a single doe. One buck was huge.

for the last 4  nights an 8 and a 10 point have been feeding with 5 does on my property just before last light. The older mature 4 year old 8 kicks the 10 out of the way to feed but pays no attention to the does..

Thursday I was hunting zone 67 and all bucks I saw were on lock down with a doe. paid no attention to calls or scents. Depends on your area

Seen 7 does tonight and not a single buck in tow

Saw a mom with 2 fawns at last light, nothing in tow.

Most of the rutting behavior I observed this year was during Halloween week.  There were a lot of young bucks acting stupid during the 3rd week of October.  Older bucks were following does does during Halloween week and they were locked down and breeding during the first week of November.  

Maybe Charlie was right, the Rutting Moon was October 24 this year.
