Got some rigs out together

A buddy of mine made up the bottom rig for me and recommended the other two. The tuna bite is strong now. Bailing out soon to Cabo.

where is the bottom rig?   proven tuna killers right there.  

I have not fished Cabo - but I have fished just north off the East Cape which is supposed to be "better" and waaay less touristy.   You can get an all day 30' cruiser for like $550, and you don't need to go far for pelagics and great roosterfish and pargo as well.     Marlin (mostly striped but plenty of others to keep it honest)  and BIG Pacific sails frequent the Sea of Cortez.  I need to get back there.   I just fished with a good guide in a 22' Panga and we were able to do it all.     Perhaps one of the better fishing trips of mine and my sons life!

Cabo has been good to me. We rent a car and do our own thing to avoid the tourist crap. We get a 35 Bertram for $500 a day. Just my wife and I along with captain and mate

Got down here yesterday. Plan to fish 2 days and golf 2. If fishing is good I may add a day. Who knows, got to keep wife happy. Peso is very weak so there are some steals in the non touristy areas.

Today my wife had 2 fish tacos (one Mahi Mahi and one smoked marlin), I had 2 beef. We had chips and salsa, I had a margarita, she had a beer and it was $17...
