Best wind indicators?

What does everyone use? Power,smoke,weather apps, tv weather or natural things?

 

To me the seeds from the milk weed. Nothing carrys better in the slightest wind.

Used half a bag of them out here. Never saw wind switch hourly like does here

Milkweed. I usually collect 10-20 pods in September and it will last me a while season of excessive use. It is amazing to see what it does with thermals and how wind funnels through terrain features. I learned a lot since I started using it.

John they're great until you leave them in your pocket, then run them through the washing machine! Lmao

Fox fur under coat stuffed into an old camera film roll with a hole drilled in bottom so I just pull some out. You can pack alot of fur into those little canisters and they are nice and small

For all you guys using Milkweed, where do you get them from? I don't see them anywhere near where I hunt?

Milkweed all the way. You can follow your scent stream. Pretty crazy what it will do sometimes.

I use the milkweed seedlings all the time, I sent a few flying on Saturday and at first they went straight downwind then made a sharp left and floated down a cut I was sitting near. Never expected it but I am sure that's what my scent was doing. I bailed out of that stand after seeing it.

Milkweed kept in a small RX bottle to keep dry  Powder is only visible for so far while the milkweed can be seen for quite a way. Results may surprise you.
