11/11 Veterans Day Check-in

I'll be heading out in a few to move a stand and then I'll be in the blind for the afternoon....thank you to all of our vets!

Have a lingering cold that is just taking it’s toll on my motivation. Only have hunted 2x in the last three weeks. Woke up to go both yesterday and today got dressed and started coughing and lost my breath. I turned around and went back to bed.

Lots of movement this morning. Saw 7-8 does and 5 bucks ranging from 4 pt to a decent 9. They all got the pass, still looking for the 12 pt. Haven’t seen him in a week but pretty sure he’s been in the neighbors standing corn

Got in around 10:40 to avoid spooking them off my pile.  Hunted yesterday afternoon and saw a 4 point that gave me no shot. Still looking for my first buck
