The fighter jets of edible ducks are broadbills, the cut the wind hard and fly fast!! Go for them and your really going to be surprised how fast and maneuverable a bird with stubby wings can be.

Any given duck will fly at various speeds, it doesn’t mean they will fly at top speed or what they are even capable of at any given time. Not that what you said was deceiving necessarily but that some people see that little factoid and assume that they fly that fast all the time or that they fly that fast under normal conditions.  I bet that bird they clocked had no idea it was capable of that kind of flight until running for its life while under chase by an airplane

Have a pintail drop from the sky like a rock.....

Teal are crazy with all the twist and turns....many a duck hunter has shot at nothing while shooting at teal...there not where you thought they were going...

Been a solid early season.  Seeing good numbers of both woodies and big ducks.
