Epic fail

Working on the last of last year’s backstraps. Way off my game tonight. Standard dry rub and grill on medium heated until about 400 degrees.   I over-cooked a piece of venison loin. It’s still slightly pink in center but for venison loin - I may as well have burned it. That being said - still delicious just a little less melt in mouth. Before u send me to hell - I did put my father in hospice today.  I don’t need anything. I appreciate all the love and support many of you have already offered. Just forgive me for burning the loin.  God bless.
