Sick Deer In Michigan

Not good. When I can no longer eat my harvest I will stop hunting it.

Specifically, in Michigan, state officials rely on hunters to help manage the disease.

Yet one more reason why hunting is good for the environment and conservation - something the anti-hunters simply can't (or refuse) to grasp - they'd rather the infected deer spread the disease to the entire herd as opposed to hunters killing the sick deer to protect the rest of the herd.

Gross-looks like smallpox.

TB is a mycobacteria, smallpox is a virus...

Get your herd vaccinated!
