Just a Doe, But The Kids 2 for 2 in the First Week of 2018

I took Junior out this morning for a quick sit before school and he followed up his velvet 8 pointer during Saturday’s opener  with a pretty young lady this morning. She’s a 1  1/2 year old doe that he arrowed at less than 20 yards from his ladder stand.  She  ran about 30 yards and expired within sight. Not a bad start to the first week with the compound for a 14 yr old young man! I forgot to mention in my first post about Jr.’s  buck the gratitude I have for Timmy @ Tackle & Field  in Wanneque. He set up Chris’ new Mathews  Mission and he is shooting really well! Thanks Tim!
