Etiquette Question

Would you shoot a lone fawn? What are the chances it survives? Not looking for the "you'll never know if you shoot it" answer. Just an honest yes or no. I'm getting some mixed reviews, just curious the consensus, Thanks

Fawns will survive just fine.  But shoot it if you want it, they are good eating.

probably, i know if a doe and fawn comes in the fawn is getting my eab tag

Personally, no. It'll survive and I could wait another day to shoot something with some more meat on it.

I personally wouldnt shoot, it will survive just fine on its own.

I personally  would not shoot it, but that is me. I think it will survive just fine.

I wouldn’t.  Survival depends on a few things but in general, I agree with the previous comments. It’ll be fine.

Fawns will survive. I have had numerous orphan fawn where I hunt and they make out just fine. The only one that didn't was my little friend, she would come to my tree stand and lay by it from the time I cam to the time I left. Then one day it didn't come it was Nov 8th lastb season. I got down laid a scent trail and as I was making it I saw half of her, yotes got her.

 

But rest assured fawns will survive this time of year.

My days of killing babies are over. Did it when I was younger- decided againt it now that I've harvested many animals in my life i just dont see the point. I rather not take the life of a fawn for a lousy 15lbs of meat and a buck tag. It's like killing a puppy to me.
