I would think even closer - John got some chickens just a few miles off...  This doesn't happen every year - blue clear warm water right up to beach....  I caught some really nice one's to 25lbs at the Resor Wreck early one October, that's only about 20 miles out of Manasquan if I recall....

We used to catch yellowfins as well as blue fins way closer than people would believe. I'm betting they will be caught under 20 miles this year

266 sea fox contender twin yamaha 150s. We run 40 mph monday coming back

50 miles ouch! I am a coward my 24' open bow is never going to see that far out with me driving lol
I am the 5 miler always figure i can be back in 15 minutes that way 
nice catch!
