All the critters in the deer woods are in constant communication. Getting to know the sounds and their meanings is a plus in hunting whitetails. However, the same critters can rat you out if you are not careful.

True.. When i hear those squrrrels give off the alarm i go on high alert.. I remember the first time i ever saw a buck with a gun in my hand.. I was 16 and sitting on a blow down at the edge of a pond out in the woods.. Across the pond a squirrel was making a fuss, while this was going on a nice buck suddenly appeard and started to drink.. he busted me before i got a shot..

 

 

Not so much the Blue Jays though, they seem to squawk at everything including each other, but they do cause me to raise an eye brow......
