Speaking of ozone products....

Recommended Posts

I have this arriving today, via Amazon, only $39 with great reviews and more than half the price of the SCENT CRUSHER brand doing same thing.

"ODOR CRUSHER" vehicle plug in odor eliminator.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BY66W6V/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I ordered it specifically for my parent's Jeep Liberty, that had a recent family of mice living and urinating and crapping in it.  We think we got rid of the rodents, but nothing my mother has tried has gotten rid of the horrible stench that will choke you.    If it works on that - then I will take it on hunting trips to Ohio and treat my clothing. (except for boots as I hear ozone eats rubber).

I don't dispute the efficacy of ozone and odor elimination, and don't doubt that in the right conditions, even ozonics can "help" with a hunt but never be failsafe.

Even if this ODOR CRUSHER does what I expect it to at less than half the price of SCENT CRUSHER, and I treat my clothing and take best possible scent eliminator shower, scent eliminator  deodorant, toothpaste etc, spray down with scent elimination spray, I still think a deer can easily wind me from hundreds of yards away.  Cant stop the scent coming out of my pores, my mouth, and my nose.

That's why I don't bother with any of that.  I'm not saying my way is better..but it is easier.

I used take a "silkwood shower" every time I went out, spray down with all kinds of crap...now I just don't worry about it.  I try to hunt the wind as best I can.  I still get winded from time to time.  When I get winded, I just salute the deer and say you won today, bud.  All that stuff might help a little...to me its not enough to bother with.

I just try to keep it low key and fun......

EDIT:  I don't want this to be taken as a criticism of those who do an extensive scent control regime.   To each his own....

Let us know how it works out.  I'd in interested in it if it works for you.

Yeah if it simply cleanses a vehicle, well worth the $40...  Smoke, urine, vomit, dog, food and beverage spills, B/O, etc...   Most used vehicles stink!

Sorry didn't mean to offend certain members, so if this ODOR CRUSHER works on the mouse urine and dog smell, it should help eliminate cat odors from vehicles as well.

Well, then what about this then:

In Disbelief that this tiny little device actually worked this well. So, I brought my bag home from a spring Turkey hunt and left it in the garage. Well my wife decided to stand it up out of her way, only problem was my gun cleaning kit was also in the bag and a little oil spilled on my clothing but the smell saturated everything, clothes, backpack, boots and the bag itself.

Skeptical me decided to try this product since it was so reasonable. Besides, it's Amazon, if it didn't work I was going to send it back.

Low and behold, I received it today and removed it from the box at 6:30 pm, put it into the bag and zipped it back up. At 10 pm I took a peek and pulled out a shirt to smell it. It was immediately obvious that the Oil Smell was disapating. So I flipped everything inside the bag over and shuffled it around to ensure all sides of everything were treated. 40 mins ago at 1am I opened the bag and the light was still blue (Amazing Battery life right out of the box). I pulled everything out to smell it and the oil smell was gone. I could only smell the Ozone smell left behind.

I had to make sure my nose wasn't playing tricks on me so I ran the bag into the living room so my wife could smell and after begging her to do so even she was amazed that the smell was gone. I will be putting it in a box with my boots next.

My only wish now is that BoneView will make a Lithium Ozone Generator of bigger size to compete with Ozonics which is way overpriced.
