Is where my Son and his college roommates are currently on vacation.  He says the weather is awesome.  They are "in some giant wilderness" in a small cabin with nothing around.  Picture was taken at 11:00 PM.  He says they might never come back .............

i was there in 2016 with my son and three of his buddies.  We camped out every night to save on the cost and hiked 80 miles.  Truly incredible place, sulphur vents everywhere due to the volcanic activity and the cleanest water I've ever seen.  When we ran out of water we simply put our canteens in a clear stream as instructed by the locals and had at it.   Every stream we crossed had trout, char and or salmon and the city of Reykjavik was super cool.  I'd go back again.  Three hours of semi-darkness per day.

Awesome.  My step-son and his wife will be spending Christmas week in Iceland this year.  I think those two Floridians will be in for a shock!

A trip they will remember if they stay Sober.    I was there with the Navy 1960 ate every meal aboard the ship the food was suspect but Drank with Locals who just loved their Alcohol.

Most beautiful place I have ever been before. I went in March but plan on going back at least twice more. Once in summer and again in winter. Horse wasn’t too bad either...
