So confused....my head hurts

Recommended Posts

Why not do both? I am fishing now, will start hunting mornings come the opener then fish the hot afternoons. Be in the woods every chance till Oct.28 then up to oak orchard for steelies and browns, come home Nov.2nd then back up in a tree on the 3rd then maybe back to pulaski thanksgiving weekend. Don’t choose one, do both. There is plenty of time to be tired in Feb and March

There are four seasons in my house:

Hunting Season

Trapping Season

Turkey Season

Fishing Season

Late August/September..  mullet run for bass. Fluke til it closes.

September... mullet could still be around, albies are usually around.

October.... weather will dictate what I do. I love late October hunting. Pre rut. My favorite Time.

November....if I got a deer or 2 in the freezer I'm fishing.  Stacking striper filets in the freezer for the winter.

December.. gun hunt, meat hunt. Still chasing fish if they are there.

Swamprat I'm liking your schedule. October is definitely my favorite month to hunt. September sometimes it's just way too hot to be sitting in the stand last year I went out and it was 90 degrees. I might fish up until permit bow. Besides Bone Collector 85 is my brother-in-law if I don't get any deer I'll just eat some of his....hahahahaha
