Very territorial I watch them run each other off the feeder all day long.  Usually there's one that becomes king of the hill and as soon as another shows up he/she comes outta nowhere to run them off.  I out a trail cam up on the feeder last year.  They are cool to watch.

I have two feeder out and lots of hummingbirds around. Very interesting to watch. Especially when they chase each other off.

Just a side note, I have some friends that would consider your bird bath as racially insensitive.

I had relatives out in western PA that had a bunch of feeders out and you could watch 10 at a time at the feeders. They are neat little birds. My wife and mother in law had never seen one until last summer at Longwood Gardens. They are always great to see.

I feed them all the time but make my own nectar and I never use red coloring.

Thanks for the inputs have been changing Nector and making my own 1 p sugar 4 p Distilled water no coloring.               The visits have dropped off some from the numbers that first showed up now like 2 possibly 4 neighbor says could be they are still migrating and passing by or a dominant one in the area. I have another feeder coming from Amazon today will set up far away from this one as recommended.  The Statue in the Birdbath was a gift for my Asian neighbor as well as the Budda and guard dogs in my Graden.
