Punish all for Racism!

seems like an interesting situation,  why can't the person identify who said this or who all the players where and go after them instead of the whole team? no matter how you figure its a he said she said thing  hard to prove one way or other. but I guess this is the new PC way of doing things.

The new America...guilty until proven innocent.  Punish the group for the stupidity of one person.  And potentially the best part of the situation is the dickless, spineless, piece of trash who used the racial slur (if it actually did happen) doesn't have the balls to step forward and take the punishment so now 39 of his friends have to be punished for his ignorance.

Getting a taste of their own medicine.  They want to punish law abiding gun owners, now their own innocents is punished for the action of one.

I am willing to bet the kid was willing to step forward, but his parents or legal advice said to remain silent to protect his future. You can be right, the girl from other HS is lying or there has been past incidents covered up.

You also have to wonder, if the Superintendent's motives are not racial. An interim/short term leadership making a name for himself.

i'm completely disgusted by this asshole decision even if the incident was proven to have happened as claimed...think the whole season would have been cancelled based on a rumor a black student said "move, honkey" to white student?  i sure don't.

I teach college kids.  When the shooting in Fl occurred I taught my class an important lesson.  I usually put bonus questions at the end of every exam, and the students usually look forward to them.  However, some students in the fall took the final early and leaked some of the bonus questions to the other students.  So this semester I taught the students the following lesson:

"There will be no more bonus questions on exams.  Since a small minority of you decided to break academic guidelines and share exam questions, I am punishing all students for the actions of a few.  Now you all know how much that sucks.  Keep that in mind as you advocate to restrict other people's rights because of the actions of a tiny majority."

Most of them got the point.

I  find it interesting when scholars collaborate on exams. It's usually shows a few things. (1) At least they care about grades. (2) Lets try to beat the system (3) It keeps all teachers on their toes (4) Sometimes the students get very creative and think out of box on how to steal questions/answers.

At least in your class, the students end up doing some thinking because you are forcing them to do so via 1st order consequences to seemingly innocuous actions.  They learn real fast that way.   It's time to make politicians and bureaucrats pay the price for doing the same thing.
