Bergen County People, Who Remembers This Place?

Recommended Posts

Open 24/7, known for egg sandwiches, they also had hot dogs....I have never had a egg sandwich better then this place.....I would get a double/double with cheese (two eggs, two italian sausage links), double egg with cheese & chili....This was a place we would go after the clubs totally drunk if we didn't hit the diner. The Ice Man (Richard Kuklinski) would go here as well, not sure if it was to eat, but he claimed to dump many bodies in the dumpster.....It was a small place, and the old man that owned it I'm not sure if he ever went home

The Ice Man left a body in a 55 gallon sealed drum in front of the place. It was there for weeks until it just disappeared

My group of friends actually mimic the egg and chili sandwiches before each of the big horse racing events. It’s like a blast from the past. Saturday morning, we will be eating them. It’s the best part of the day.

We used to drive there on midnights all the way from Netcong to get the double double.
