Check this rainbow out unreal!!!

My nephew sent me this. Unreal .a blue rainbow trout " palomino" . Chow went on an eating binge when he saw this fish..

Good God that is one fugly fish!!! Looks more like a Chernobyl escapee that anything else! Why in Gods name would any self respecting biologist ever develop such a hideous creature?!

You've been to enough fisheries meetings to have heard several anglers over the years actually stand up and request that the hatchery raise genetic mutants like this.

Not a fan of Bows, but actually think that is not a ugly as the Golden ones that Pa. stocks.

Not a big fan of fishing for stocked trout to begin with, but I do like to eat them.  Now I'm not so sure if I even want to eat them.

I think the goldens Pa stocks are beautiful.

especially this years, where the rainbows are so bright red.

 

Cabelas used to have a Blue trout  in its trout pond at the Hamburg store, but it was no where near as Blue as the OP pic
