Great Weather for Fishing

Down in Florida that is . Highs in the 70s-80s but windy. Took a week to go visit my Dad and Brother and nephew  in St Augustine.  Fished Sheepshead 3 days and once offshore for bottom fish. Wind was blowing most of the week and kept us to one trip out. Had a great time as always.

Red snapper....all released cause of there is only a few small season to keep them. There are tons of them and the fight like crazy

Lots or sharks too. They like the Red Snapper a lot too as my dad shows only one of probably 20 that decided to take from us

John, I see you caught those fish right after the jailbreak. They still had their striped  prisoner wardrobes on!

We fished Bucktail, vertical jigs and bait. My dad and i caught a lot of reds on the Bucktail. At one point he and I couldn't jig the 3-4 times on the bottom with out one jumping on the jig.

Mike they are probably one of the best eaten fish out there. Better than fluke and seabass

Thats awesome! I fish st. Augestine once a year or so, not spot burning, but where were you hookin up on those sheepies!??
