Rottweiler Breeders

The time has come to add a new pup to the family and I wanted to put it out there to any of you Rottie owners. I've gone through rescue agencies for Rotties before, but it's nearly impossible to get young puppies from them.  Do you guys know of any quality breeders around here?  I don't mind driving a bit for the right animal, and the breeder I'm leaning towards is actually located in Maryland.  I just wanted to pick your brains and see who you guys have used in the past before I make my final decision.

Kimbertal kennels has been around a long time.

 

They have 3 male puppies available right now.

of course I want a female.

 

I had one dog trained there back in the mid 80's.

in German and hand signals.

Absolutely. I bought several rotties from them and both where exceptional dog's. My first one at the time of his death weighed 176 and you could not get near my 2 kid's until he checked you out. Great dogs and people

Thanks for the recommendation. I remember reading about them a while back. I will keep them in mind.

 

I'm also looking for a female this time Dan. Probably not purchasing until around July, so maybe I'll reach out to them to see what their breeding schedule is like

Anyone of you guys have experience with Von Hobson Rottweilers in Stanton?

Kimbertal is chock full of male puppies right now, with no females at all.   The guy I may go through is in Maryland, but if I can find someone closer to home, I'd prefer to go that route

My friend just picked up his Rottweiler puppy a few days ago. He now has 5 Rottweilers. I'll call him today and get back to you.

I spoke to my friend and he said that the only ones that he trusts are Susan Grupp who you can find on Facebook and Tamra Bojarski at Tagar Rottweilers. Both people are located in Upstate New York. He said to be prepared to spend $2,000.00 on a puppy.

Thanks tarhunt.  I'll look at both of them.  2k is pretty standard for pet quality/companion animals of that nature

I have had two female rotties from Kimbertal and both were incredible dogs.
