Great day for birds in the snow

Today was a great day to bird hunt with nice fresh snow on the ground. Hunted with Brian aka Bucksandbows and his Brittany named Rusty. We tried a new place to both of us and a had few hours hunting for pheasant and chuckar. We found 3 out of 4 pheasants 2 cock birds and 1 hen. We got 6 out of 8 chuckar. It was cool to track pheasants in the snow after someone didn’t shoot one too well. All in all it was a great hunt and a great way to spend a day in the outdoors. We hunted at Indian Creek in Sussex county it was a great place to hunt and the owner was great to us and even gave us extra birds.

Nothing is better than following a bird dog in light snow cover,my pup tends to track extremely well in the snow!
