LOTS of unhunted park land, and small pieces of Land Trust land etc.

do some homework, get in a park that allows just a few guys on it.

The park Police take care of the tresspassers, and you just get to hunt.

and best part is many of them hold great deer

Here, I'll add a stanza:

Some guy in orange just came through

I'm wearing my bib but I have to poo

I'd love to move out west but in NJ I'm stuck

Oh god, did I just year "yo buck!"?

Got those 6 day blues.....

Had a guy posted under my stand

While his buddies drove that state land

I said are you serious man?!

He refused to even look at me, what a ham..... (true story from last year opening day)

I got those those 6 day blues....

I wonder if there are any parks that provide good hunting without overcrowding. I never hunted one, so I don't know,  but I was told Cheesequake State Parke by me is shoulder to shoulder

In the early season, September and October, state land is empty. During the 6 day, every joker with a shotgun goes into the woods. Once winter bow starts, the woods are empty again. We have a 6 month season, let the 6 dayers have their 6 days. Not worth the time or frustration.
