Got to get both grandsons out same day since the youngest now wants to go.

Started in Belford Monmouth County Park  Snappers still on the menu but not in the numbers of past week but bigger Along with big clouds of Spearing schools.  Left to check out Port Monmouth Marina inlet. Same conditions few Snappers seems they are moving out of the Bayshore to open Ocean. There were still schools of Peanut Bunker in the Inlet cast netters doing a number on them a lot being wasted. Left to check out Keyport The Pier had the usual Casting and Crabbing did not see anything being caught but the Cormorants doing just Fine catching a meal.

This will be the last trip to Bayshore till the Fall Bass Start. Will be out front Ocean Grove Wed. with grandsons. to Finish up with the  Fluke and Blues.  School and Baseball interfere after that.

Might be making a Headboat Trip with Son and Grandsons for Stripers out of Morgan Son friends with owners.

Just hope the Surf lays down for Wed.  to allow Fly Fishing.

Should add this location in Key Port on weekends is elbow to elbow and Not a Friendly place to be and the English Language is optional.  Fights between People Crabbing with those Fishing is guaranteed.   The crab Size limit is from 3" up. The Pier in the Background is no better on week ends and some week days seems no body has a Job anymore.

One of the best parts of Keyport was The Party Boat Capt. John Supper Clean Family Friendly, not just a boat ride he knew where to fish and when

Sadly that all came to an end in Jan. 2017 when John passed away. seems no one will take his Place there.

Smooth Sailing John  :praying:

The captain John was a great fishing boat and John was a great meet him a few times when I fished on his boat. The captain of the boat I used to work on we used to talk to John everyday we were out.

Great fishing report

Do you have any idea what and where the Boat wound up?    That was a special Morring spot wonder if they just lost that,  The Misty Morn Morgan Creek is now Charter but might run open.

It's the flamingo in ny

That is a damn shame  That boat was always very well kept to let go to NY is Sacrilegious.  Key Port sucks in many ways wonder if they would not renew the Mooring when I passed it I think everything is Gone like it never was there.
