Groundhogging

Decided to help the farmer this pm. So far two, 10 yards and 130yards. Not much cover now I can't wait for the corn to come up

Predator and groundhog hunting is the only time we can use rifles in this effed up state.

I get to use my favorite gun, 22-250, and yes it does make you a better shot when you get to make 100 to 300 yard shots at a tiny groundhog. Of course on public land no rifles

Yep, they just recycle the old holes. One I shot today was at the same hole I shot 4 other at last year, almost identical way. This cluster is in the middle of the corn field so I have no cover but groundhogs do not panic when they are next to their hole and you are 100 yards away, ( they don't understand 4,000 feet/s"-)). They freeze  and watch as you set up for the shot. killed many the same way early season.

Nice! What scope do you have? Do you use mil dot or turrets? Sold my kimber with leupold and now got a savage 12fv and need glass
