The Best-Laid Plans of Mice and Men

Well, we had a very specific plan.  When our daughter gets home next week we were going to start looking for a new puppy.  Driving home from Stokes yesterday I went past an adoption day being held at a local school.  I was by myself and I don't ever stop for these kind of things but for some reason I did a U-turn and headed back.  

 

I told myself that I would "just look".  "Just look", yeah right.      

 

We got a new puppy.
